A heritage, a tradition, a way of life tradition...
Designed by Stanley Thompson in 1929, Le Château Montebello, was ranked as the second best public course in Québec and was recently awarded Golf Ranking Magazine's prestigious Double Platinum Award. It was also declared a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary in 1998. Le Château Montebello is surrounded by forests with dramatic changes in elevation that offer golfers spectacular views of the Laurentian mountains.
"Montebello was absolutely awesome. The place is kept in wonderful condition, and even with all of the rain prior to our arrival, the course was in great shape. It now ranks as my favourite course offered by EG. There remain about nine courses that I haven't tried yet, and we are going to start going a bit further afield to try them all out. Hopefully by the end of the season I can give you an informed overall favourite, but somehow I really think that Montebello will be it. Thank you very much as the one day at this course made my entire season."
